The 2020 Mountainfilm on Tour at WaterColor from WaterColor’s Marina Park Amphitheater will be relocating to Watersound Origins for a Drive-In Viewing of this year’s lineup of extraordinary films. The relocation will provide you with the opportunity to view this year’s program in a safe, yet celebratory, environment – all from the comfort of your own car, in true drive-in style. We will also be providing access to a Virtual Program online for those who want to partake in our beloved event in a more intimate setting.

Drive-In Viewing | Friday, Nov. 6 at 6:30 p.m.

The Drive-In Viewing, presented by festival sponsor Watersound Origins Community, will take place on the 9th Hole of the Origins Golf Course on Friday, Nov. 6 at 6:30 p.m. All guests will remain in their parked cars, from which you’ll have access to audio via your car radio, for the duration of the 2.5-hour program. You are encouraged to bring your own food and drinks; in adhering with social-distancing guidelines, none will be available for purchase at the event. Lawn seating will not be permitted.

Virtual Program | Friday & Saturday, Nov. 6 & 7

This year’s festival will also be accessible virtually and free-of-charge- allowing loyal Mountainfilm fans and new audiences alike to enjoy the films from the comforts of their own home! Although tickets to this year’s Virtual Program are complimentary, you will still need to reserve a ticket to watch the program online through Eventgroove. Ticketholders will receive a designated Eventgroove link with which to access the program and will have a flexible 48-hour watch window. The virtual program, accessible via Eventgroove, will open at 9 a.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 6, and will close at 9 a.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 8. The full program’s duration is approximately 2.5 hours.

Once you have reserved your complimentary festival ticket through Eventgroove, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to access the digital program. This link is specific to each ticket holder and only available to click one time. This system is in place to prevent individuals from sharing their ticket or access. The system will only let users close the program in the browser and come back to it one additional time.

The program can be viewed via laptop, desktop, tablet or mobile device with a strong WiFi connection. Preferred browsers include Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

If you would like to watch the program on your TV, there are a variety of ways this can work depending on the your home system. The most reliable way to watch a program on a TV is by directly connecting a computer via HDMI to the TV. Limited-Edition Mountainfilm T-Shirts

Limited-edition 2020 Mountainfilm on Tour at WaterColor shirts are now available for purchase online. A limited quantity will also be available at our retail store, WaterColor Store, located in the WaterColor community at 6 WaterColor Blvd. S, Suite #102. Shirts are $26 each (plus sales tax).  There will be an option to pick up shirts at the store or have it shipped for an additional fee.
